Before the appointment
Complete cleaning, staging, furniture moves, and decluttering before the scheduled arrival time. Small visual adjustments may be made during production, but major room preparation is not part of a standard appointment.
- Declutter exterior areas and remove temporary items
- Move vehicles away from the driveway and front of the property
- Open blinds and curtains fully; open windows when safe and practical
- Turn on working interior and exterior lights
- Clear kitchen and bathroom counters
- Remove personal care products and medications
- Make beds and straighten linens
- Hide visible charging cables and loose cords
- Remove pet bowls, beds, crates, toys, and waste
- Close toilet lids and lower bathroom seats
- Clean mirrors, glass, stainless steel, and reflective surfaces
- Arrange decks, patios, pools, and outdoor seating
- Secure valuables and private documents
- Share access instructions and any features that need special attention
Exterior and drone readiness
Put away bins, hoses, tools, toys, seasonal clutter, and temporary signs. Drone coverage may change because of weather, airspace, neighboring activity, property access, or safe legal operating conditions.
Final walkthrough
Walk through once from the entry and look in the direction a camera will see. Straighten chairs, align curtains, check reflections, and confirm that every intended room is unlocked and accessible.
